2. Data processed
The static site does not operate an analytics collector. A hosting provider may create security and access logs such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp and user agent.
3. Browser-local features
Consent preference, saved articles, a bounded event queue, and an optional newsletter preference are stored under keys beginning ad_economics_. Search filtering runs locally. Newsletter details saved by the form remain in that browser and are not transmitted.
4. Event data
The local event queue records page paths, event names, timestamps and limited interaction metadata. It does not store raw email addresses. window.dataLayer and window.ADE expose the same local measurement layer for inspection.
5. Correspondence
If you email us, we process your address, message and attachments to respond, protect legal interests and maintain editorial accountability.
6. Legal bases
Depending on context, processing relies on legitimate interests in security and correspondence, consent for optional browser storage, or legal obligations.
7. Retention
Browser records remain until you clear them or browser storage. Hosting log retention is set by the host. Correspondence is retained only as reasonably needed for its purpose and disputes.
8. Recipients and transfers
Hosting and email providers may process data under their terms. Internet infrastructure can involve processing outside Luxembourg or the EEA with applicable safeguards.
9. Rights
Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection or portability and may complain to Luxembourg’s CNPD or another competent authority.
10. Controls and security
Use page controls or browser settings to clear local data. Do not send sensitive information by ordinary email. No internet service can promise absolute security.
11. Children and changes
The site is for a general audience and does not knowingly solicit children’s data. Material notice changes will be posted here with a revised date.
